My England
I'm captivated by England's beauty,
Majestic rivers flow with merciless grace,
Orange sunsets warm the evening air,
Like Monet's brush, they paint the sky's embrace.
The greens, they carpet earth with generous sweep,
A tear forms in my eye, unforeseen,
As wondrous plains and soaring birds I see
Their splendour vast and serene.
In a hidden village, warmth and smiles abound,
Its people, welcoming, surprises my heart,
Their kindness makes it skip a beat, astound,
In this serene and lovely land, a timeless art.
Oh, England, your charm is magnetic,
filling me with awe for your splendour and quaint spirit.
